Weddings at Holy Trinity
Thank you for your interest in having your wedding at Holy Trinity Church. Our desire is to make your day as special as you are.
As we are an Episcopal Church, the wedding ceremony follows The Book of Common Prayer. Though normally one of the parties is an Episcopalian, we only require that you believe in God and wish to have a religious ceremony.

Pre-Marital Counseling
Couples are required to attend pre-marital counseling to help prepare for marriage and to protect against a future divorce. The counseling helps couples to understand the nature of marriage and to understand why it is a sacrament. Counseling also improves communication skills and establishes initial goals for growing happiness with one another.
Fee
There is a $1,500 all-inclusive fee for weddings that covers the priest, the organist, the cleaning of the church, and the use of heat or air conditioning as needed. As Holy Trinity Church is a summer chapel and not a parish, the bulk of the funds are used to maintain this historic site.
Note: If one or both of the parties have been previously married, the fee is $1,700 ($200 higher) as extra time and work is required to obtain the consent of the Bishop of New Jersey for the solemnization of a marriage after divorce.
